Road Trip

Gavin's parents invited us to drive down with them to Tucson Arizona to visit Corey, Ashley & Noelle. So on Friday the 13th we headed down to Arizona and it was Bri's first road trip. She slept a lot and when she was awake we attempted to entertain her. There were only a few times that she cried extremely hard. She was so ready to be out of that car seat. We stayed in Flagstaff the first night and the hotel wasn't that great. Oh well that is bound to happen from time to time.

While down there we got to play with Noelle and she sure seemed to like Gavin. He got her laughing real good at times. The best was whenever we'd build a great tower with her blocks she would scoot over to them and knock them down. She also was very nice and shared her toys with Sabrina. It was fun to watch the interaction between the two and I can't wait until they are both old enough to run around together and play.

We tried to decide what to do while down there and one place we decided to go to was the Pima Air Museum. It has tons and tons of planes and helicopters. We weren't able to see all of them but it was pretty cool and even though there were some trouble times with Bri it was fun to look at the planes and learn more about them. We also went to the Mission San Xavier del Bac. They are in the middle of restoring it but it was really neat to see and full of picture opportunities. We sure enjoyed walking around there and getting pictures taken.Look at all the gorgeous cacti!
It was fun to be able to spend time with Noelle. It was also nice to be able to have Corey and Ashley play with Bri as they haven't seen her since Christmas time. It was fun to have Larry and Karen get more Bri time in too. It was a great vacation and we hope to do it again sometime before Corey is finished with school.
Thanks Corey and Ashley for being such great hosts and for all the wonderful home cooked meals... (Ashley I need that pulled pork recipe... it was delicious)Thanks Larry and Karen for driving down and inviting us to come along. We had a lot of fun. It was a much needed vacation for us.P.S. This is what we came home to...
Go figure.

I'm emailing you the recipe now :) Glad you like it. It's one of my new favorite things to make... so good!

That looks like so much fun. I'm glad you got some sun. I think we should all move south! Oh, and I love the photo of Gavin and Corey holding the girls (they are holding them in mirror image of each other).
