Dad's Wild Goose Chase and Easter

When all us kids turned 18 my mom would always send us on a treasure hunt that usually ended up with us going all around the town. It was fun to see where it would lead us. Well this year for my dad's 60th birthday we all chipped in and decided to send him on a wild goose chase (aka a treasure hunt). Trisha came up with the idea and I believe did most if not all of the shopping and had all us kids right down 10 reasons about what we love/like him. As we got to each location we each read to him what we love/like him. It sure was fun to hear what everybody said. Here is my list of 10 things

10 things I LIKE/LOVE about Dad

1-His hugs
2-His cleaning
3-Racing Him up the stairs
4-Pulling His finger
5-His dutch oven cooking
6-The way He kisses Mom in the Kitchen
7-The way He is as a Grandfather
8-The way He whistles and you can hear it forever away
9-Playing His Avon sports
10-His sense of Humor
Here are the pictures of the hunt.
(thanks Marsha for taking most of the pictures)After my dad found all his clues the hiding of the Easter Eggs began. Here are some pictures of all the kids on a race to finding all the eggs. Sabrina even picked up her first egg ever. I have always enjoyed watching the kids run around looking for the eggs.
Then on Sunday we were able to spend Easter Sunday with Gavin's parents. They got her this really awesome Easter book and here are a few pictures of them with Sabrina looking at it.All in all it was a pretty good weekend.
