5 Months

I cannot believe that it has been 5 months already! Sabrina is growing up so quickly. She turned 5 months on the 22nd of April and had her 4 month check up on the 29th. She is weighing in at 15 1/2 lbs and 25 1/4 inches long. She is not a starving baby that is for sure.

She is starting to giggle a little bit here and there and of course we can't get her to do it the same way every time. She is started to reach and swat at things around 4 months old. She puts everything she can into her mouth. She loves to sit up, even if she can't do it herself she sure tries. She smiles a lot more than she used to. She recognizes Mommy and Daddy. She wakes up in the morning and is all smiles. She is talking to herself more and more. She doesn't like it when we try to put her down for a nap but it is getting a little easier most of the time.
On the 15th of April I decided to lay her on her tummy (she doesn't like tummy time at all) and well within seconds of her being on her tummy she rolled over onto her back. Gavin missed it cause he was extremely sleepy and had his eyes closed so I thought I'd try again and nothing but fussiness. So then later I was in the hallway and I thought lets try it again and come to find out she did it a second time. I tried to get Gavin in there as quickly as I could so that he could see it but by the time he got to us she was already on her back. She hasn't done it since even though I have definitely tried to get her to.

We also have given her some baby food. We tried her out with Applesauce and have now tried Sweet Potatoes. She seems to like food as she eats it rather quickly and most of it does end up in her mouth. I am trying not to give it too her too often until she is at least 6 months but we'll she if she'll allow me to do that.
She is such a cutie and we love her so much.

You could put on a million photos of her and I would never get tired of seeing them. Love the ones of her in her "power center"...(wearing the dark pink striped shirt).

She's getting so big! I start my kiddos on baby food around 4 months because they are needing it in order to stay fuller for longer. The dr. says you can start them anywhere between 4-6 mos so don't worry if she wants more! She'll sleep better at night for you!
