Well a TON of things happened in November. First of all there were 3 birthday's to celebrate. My little sister Sara had her birthday on the 1st. Josh then had his birthday on the 4th followed by my nephew Ben's on the 5th.
We also had baby showers for me and Bri. First was the one in Logan that my awesome sister Marsha hosted and did such a wonderful job... Thanks again Marsha.
We then had one in Salt Lake thanks to my wonderful mother-in-law and that too was pretty darn fun...
Then we didn't know if Bri would come before the last shower as it was the Saturday before she was due but alas she stayed in her nice and cozy home. My sweet friend Janelle threw that one for me. Well then the big event arrived and we had little Bri who now will always share a birthday with her cousin Jade who arrived just a few hours before Bri.
I think I may have to post about the birth and emotions all in their own post. It was quite the experience that I don't think I will EVER forget. We then braved Thanksgiving Day by having a bunch of family here that I don't know if I would do that again either since it was the day after we came home from the hospital. However the nice part was that I didn't really have to lift a finger.

Well I don't remember too much from December as it went by rather quickly. It just didn't feel much like Christmas to either Gavin or I and therefore there wasn't much Christmas shopping done. As a matter of fact I didn't even go out to get anything for the nephew and nieces until 2 days before Christmas. I think next year it will feel more like Christmas due to the fact we wont be dealing with a brand new baby. (At least we better not be ;) ) Although this was a special Christmas as it was the first for both Bri, her cousin Noelle and her cousin Natalie!
Gavin's brother Corey and his wife Ashley and their sweet little girl came home for a couple weeks. We decided that we didn't want to wait until Christmas to see them so we went up to Salt Lake (our first long drive with Bri) and visited them at Ashley's parents house! It was so fun to watch as Noelle would laugh hysterically at the dog and the dog really wouldn't do much except for walk but that was a good enough reason for her.For Christmas we took the trip up to my parents house on Christmas Eve and stayed there for the night so we could be there Christmas morning. My friend Julie came over to see little Bri and got to hold her.
We played 5 crowns with those that were able to make it out to my parents that night. Everyone got out to my parents around 11ish I think and we sat and chatted and took pictures and opened presents and just enjoyed the company. After we ate some lunch Gavin and I headed out to make it to his parents for dinner. We got there around four and had so much fun playing with each others kids and watching Grandma and Grandpa Bingham play with their granddaughters.
Gavin had his birthday on the 28th and we went to lunch at the Pizza Factory with his family. They seriously have some of the best pizza ever. We came back to our place for a little bit and Gavin and I took Bri to the pediatrician cause she has had a really bad rash that wasn't going away with desitin. They gave us a prescription for it along with us getting her on a probiotic and me going off of dairy for 5-7 days. That is a post within itself. So that was the low point of the birthday. We did come home to a clean house though which we were so grateful for. Thanks again Larry, Karen, Ashley & Corey! Gavin did get a windows 7 upgrade and a solid slate drive for his birthday.
January...so far
We didn't do anything for the new year besides try and get some sleep. I was up to see the ball drop as Bri was hungry at the time. We did get to bless her in church on the 2nd of January and she did such a great job as she remained pretty darn quiet up until the final prayer of the meeting was said. Gavin too did a great job blessing our little angel.
Through all the chaos and everything that day we realized as everyone left we didn't get a picture of the 3 of us. I couldn't believe that we didn't get one. So we set the camera up and attempted to get one of us but by then Bri was pretty fussy. I did get a couple pictures of her in her blessing dress.

Ha, it has been a long time. Glad to see you're finally getting a few minutes to post.
I especially love the photo of Dad holding a crying Bri, since she actually loves him. I must have just got done holding her.
